How to trade?

If you want to buy or sell securities (shares, bonds, etc.) at the Banja Luka Stock Exchange, you need to:
  1. sign a Contract on Brokerage with a licensed broker company,
  2. open a proprietary account at the Central Registry of Securities (CRS), and
  3. have an order to buy or sell securities (shares, bonds, etc.) which are registered at the Banja Luka Stock Exchange.
A stock exchange order is an order, which the client issues to the trader, the member of the stock exchange (the broker) to sell or buy certain securities for him/her. An order is a public offer to conclude a brokerage business, because any other participant who finds it suitable may accept it, executing the order and concluding the brokerage deal in such a way. An order may be oral and written (see Issuing orders).

To buy or sell securities (shares, bonds, etc.) at the Banja Luka Stock Exchange, please follow these four steps:
Step 1 – Signing a Contract on Brokerage with the EUROBROKER a.d. Banja Luka

Any local or foreign, natural or legal person may become the client of the EUROBROKER. A person may acquire the status of client, with all rights and obligations, by signing a Contract on Brokerage which is a general contract on providing services under the defined terms. The Contract does not represent an order to buy or sell securities.

Immediately prior to the conclusion of the Contract, the broker is required to familiarize the future client with the Stock Exchange Rules approved by the Securities Commission (SC) and provide the client with the following forms:

  • Questionnaire to define the client’s profile
  • Form for classifying clients

Rules are used to closely define rights and obligations of both broker and client as well as procedures necessary for working with the client, the Banja Luka Stock Exchange and other institutions. The client is familiarized with the official pricelist of brokerage services which have been approved by the SC.
