Giving shares as gifts

If you want to give a valuable gift to your dearest ones, you should buy shares at the Banja Luka Stock Exchange. When buying shares from us, we give you a free decorative certificate of ownership as a gift. The decorative certificate of ownership is not

an evidence of ownership, and the right is acquired by entering into the Central Registry of Securities.

Pursuant to the Rulebook on Stock Exchange Brokers' Dealings (Official Gazette of the Republic of Srpska No. 67/12 of 18th July 2012) which regulates buying shares as a gift, the maximum value of transaction per order of buying shares as a gift is BAM 1,000.00.

If you want to buy shares as a gift, you should provide data about the receiver of the gift (name and surname, address and UMCN) in order to open an account in the Central Registry of Securities for the person receiving the gift, and to register those shares in the name of the receiver after buying them at the stock exchange.

It is up to you to choose the shares you want to buy and give as a gift, but before making a decision to buy the shares, you should analyse all the information about the issuer which are publically available as well as provided by us.

If you want to give the shares of companies, banks, insurance companies or investment funds which are included at the Banja Luka Stock Exchange as a gift, you should issue an order to buy the shares and pay the money for the purchase value, increased by the commission of the brokerage company, the Stock Exchange and the Central Registry of Securities, in the account provided for the clients' deposit.

Moreover, you may give your own securities as a gift by a Contract on Gifts under which the transfer from the proprietary account of the person giving the gift to the proprietary account of the person receiving the gift, with certain procedure and commission, takes place in the Central Registry of Securities.
